Image File Types

Two Point Hospital only supports JPG or PNG file types to be used as images for custom made items.

Please note that Two Point Hospital does not support transparency within images. PNG images will automatically be given a white background when uploaded and placed in a hospital.

Image Size and Resolution

Please note the following table is only a guideline of image sizes that will work best with the item the user is trying to create. The user is free to upload any size image to be used as part of their custom created items. The maximum size "Two Point Hospital" supports is 512 x 512.

Workshop Preview Image

When publishing an item or sandbox hospital to the workshop, the user can select a preview image to represent the content. The preview image must be under 1Mb in size or the game will not allow the content to be published to the steam workshop.

Attempting to publish an item or sandbox hospital, with a workshop preview image large than 1Mb, will result in the user receiving an error message.

This error message can be viewed in the users log files which can be found here:

Windows:

Mac:
